Hi, I'm Joanna, the maker behind Harmony & Co. and co-owner of Old North State & Co.

Harmony & Co. began in my living room with a sewing machine, a love for creating, and a desire to make beautiful, meaningful pieces for little ones. What started with handmade hair bows has grown into thoughtfully designed collections, inspired by the joy found in everyday moments.

Before becoming a full-time maker, I spent years serving military and civilian families as a domestic abuse victim advocate. That season of my life taught me the importance of compassion, comfort, and creating spaces where people feel seen and cared for. 

Today, I carry those same values into every piece I design.

As a mom of four, I know that the smallest things often become the most treasured—a favorite bow, a cozy blanket, or a gift given to celebrate a special milestone. My hope is that the pieces I create become part of those memories for your family, bringing a little extra beauty, comfort, and joy to the everyday.
